What i do remember first about DNA is my beautiful Biology High School Teacher; Ms.Inayah managed to calm my wild class down with her beautiful eyes and gorgeous smile. And those bad boys made a joke still base on Biology context not playing card in the corner, neither playing throw and catch peanuts with mouth nor drawing their teacher and replace his/her body with a pig or dog body (i confess…. the last one is me). We all know that DNA inform us the genetic inheritance from generation to generation and each individual has a unique identity called DNA fingerprint. June 26th, 2000 with the announcement by former US President Bill Clinton,completion of the rough draft sequence of the Human Genome Project. He said that day they were learning the language in which God created life. Ironically… few years later Bill Clinton got trouble with this root of science. When he face  impeachment because the FBI extract the 8 years old DNA from his semen on Monica Lewinsky’s Dress. It proved that he had a sexual relationship with his intern student at white house. Once i heard that the blueprint of Human Genome Project will take 6 years to finish it. So i guess the scientists have already finished it now if they started at 2000. I dont know exactly how many billion pairs of double helix, but just imagine it… 6 years working with super computer.What is the big picture of the completion Human Genome Project? The Genome Project mapping all of the DNA in human body, thus the scientist can learn every single gen which responsible for every single aspect of human body. For example gen which make your hair black, gen which make your heart stronger, etc. For medical purpose, the Genome Project can lead to the cure of Cancer or at least prevent cancer through the observation of specific genome mutation and hopefully one day mother who has a diabetic can born a free diabetic inheritance daughter. With DNA recombinant, later on you can design your own babies…For example if you were Asian couple, you can have a green eyes and Blondie Asian babies. well…. what does it for? In general, the DNA and another genome project (mapping the spider, chimpanzee,Fly Fruit DNA,etc) share a lot of advantage with another research discipline. For military purpose, the Pentagon put a big budget on spider DNA research to make a light, stronger than steel web body armor or i think they can produce a lethal biologic weapon by recombinant some virus DNA. For archaeologist, they can define exactly the family tree of the Pharaoh mummy in Valley of the King, Egypt without tracing the Hieroglyph or another archeology method (http://anthropology.tamu.edu/arch_methods.htm) through DNA test. For criminologist, especially if you want to do a crime. Make sure not to leave your blood, hair, saliva, semen in crime area at all. Or you will be ended in jail as in CSI TV Programme. Don Juan and Casanova can irresponsible impregnated woman easily before 1960 because there was no DNA test, but now … boys… don’t try. loll. My black supervisor at Pratt who once told me that she really want to know where her ancestor came from can conduct a DNA test to reveal her hidden past because of slavery.DNA can reveal many hidden truth about history, justice, and anthropology. What a marvelous science!

The third sequel is the best! Cool 3D effects and cool intrigues, funny, nice love story. Caribbean is an archipelago lay between North America and South America. Now days consist of 5 major countries Cuba, Jamaica, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and some small island countries like Barbados, St.Lucia and Bahamas.   The history of piracy in Caribbean began on the founding of America. Let say "re-found by European" since the Indian has been there before and Viking had been there few hundred years before Christoper Columbus discovered America in 1492. As an archipelago between North America and South America, and as a transit port from Africa before enter America or Gulf of Mexico , Caribbean has a strategic value for trade route. As important as Singapore in Malacca Strait or Constantinople between Asia and Europe. Singapore used to be an island of pirates before it colonized by the British. Thats why they have Chow Yun Fat and The Silly Turkish Pirate in the league of 9. Piracy always occurred anywhere as it has a high traffic sea trade route. After Spanish claimed most of South America as his colony. They build cities ports around Caribbean. British, French,Dutch, Portuguese came after.  Some of the pirates worked in British/ France Navy before. For some reason (maybe end of war between 4 countries), they lost their job and found it more profitable to rob Spanish Galleon abundance with gold from Conquistadors who plundered Aztec and Inca Civilization. They mixed with native outlaw and grew into pirate community, lived in restricted island. There are some famous pirates as Black beard who twice attack American colony of Charleston, South Carolina or female pirate Grace O’Malley which adopt as a Broadway musical theater "The Pirate Queen". And i found it interesting how the film give a real personification of love. In poem, artist usually uses heart as a personification of love by asked someone to take his/her heart. But Orlando Bloom really give his heart (physically) inside the chest to Kiera Knightley. Pirates of Caribbean 3: "At World’s End"….. really a nice ending.      

Usually i put my glasses on the night table beside my bed or i put it over a wood rack near my window. Finally, I found it on the dark mahogany color table which camouflage it from my sight. It remind me on my ex- glasses….. I had lived in Bandung for more than four years. I lived in Ciumbuluit 51 in a small cozy  mess up rent room.  I never put my stuffs in proper place. I always covered up my table with papers and my fish bowl aquarium. So i drew or wrote on the floor.  Wrote on the table is a special occasion for me. Unless i feel very happy that day or i really have nothing to do, so i cleaned up my stuffs. One day i really were in trouble to find my glasses. I had only 3 x 4m room. So the possibility  only  on my table, over my knock down plastic shelves or my bed. I had never put it on the floor. I went around my room, opened my shelves, scan my table, looked at corner of my bed. Thinking it was  fall down.  I pissed off because i couldn’t find important stuff only in a very small room. I went to bathroom, maybe i left it there…. but still couldnt find it. I want got rid from that small stupid little things called "careless" by playing my computer game. I turned on my PC and threw my body on my chair.  Crack! Eureka! i found it, but it broke into pieces under my butt. Arghh….. I wondered  why i was so creative to find an alternative for anything. So i have an idea to put my glasses on my chair. Maybe thats why someday i want a wife who love me and put anything in proper place.

I’m wondering why my dream in the last few months very different with my
dream before. I really forgot what it was before, but one thing i notice now, in the last few months i dream a lot of my old friends which i has never thought at all when i were in conscious mode. My childhood friend, my elementary friend, my acquaintances which i almost forgot who he/she is. My Dream usually randoms and involve many people in one night. Most of my dream, i found it in a big group… for example we paint the town in motor ride…. or we have a group conversation, we played sport together. i made a joke, they were laugh. We were in joy, everyone smiling. And i remember on Freud theory about dream which said "most of dream is a wish fulfillment" in the other word, i miss that moment, i wish that moment has happened on my life…. but i realized, i loss some of my belonging need (see Maslow Pyramid below). I lost my community here…. My self-actualization is unstable because i lost some of my third foundation (belonging). It triggers such kind of dream. And the next sequence of my dream after we have a group conversation is i got a third hole in my nose. close to my parrot beak/ down curved hooked part nose…. and according to Freud theory, it was a physical stimuli which triggers that kind of dream…. i got cold and sneezing all the time.my nose is runny and  when i started sleep it was stiff. After i woke up (exactly after my nose’s hole dream finished) i felt relief on my respiration. Maybe the medicine i took before i went to bed had being worked exactly when i got that dream. Anyway…. the second sequence is really not important…

Once i read a book with title "multiple intelligence"….. it’s been a long time ago. I remember i took it from "popular" shelf in Gramedia store in Istana Plaza. I wish there were a Barnes & Noble in Indonesia, so we can take any book, lie on the floor and read for free….. without uncomfortable feeling with the shopkeeper.The book was very interesting for me and give me a new perspective, how people have a
different types of gift. It classified  intelligence as 13 different types. I just remember some of it…. Logic, Numeric, Verbal, Spatial, Physical, Spiritual(SQ), Emotional (EQ), Art, Creativity, Mechanical  etc. As we know, people perceive intelligence as logic, numeric and verbal-spatial skill (IQ test). There’re many types of  physiological test  to determine this various type of intelligence. My first physiological test was on my entrance test in Art and Design Faculty. I thought it was an artistic skill test, since we were drawing to create objects from basic shape (line, curve, circle, square). The more complex and interesting the objects, the better score we got. In fact, it was testing our creativity and imagination. My next two physiological test were similar. I took them when i applied in company which has developed their human and resources department well. From the questions in first session of the test, i guess they want to know how our personality interact inside working community. They want to find out are we a team player or individual player, are we a thinker or practical person and how we interact with our boss,etc. The second session was IQ test. The third section was an elementary school task. We have to calculate one whole A3 page with hundreds of number.it was only one digit addition. But imagine how we have to count hundreds of addition in a very short time. In my opinion, it was test how we work in pressure, beside our numeric skill. And how we struggling and push our limits (AQ). One of those my last two psychological test has a general knowledge session which covered physic, biology, literature, history, geography, etc. Just like our high school subjects. Psychology is very interesting. ……    Check this 256 skills as verb out. And you will know that in some area you are better than average people.

"300" is a must be seen movie. A very awesome movie with a blood splash everywhere and beautiful cinematography. The Heroic Epic in Greek era which tell the story of 300 spartans who defends theirs city of Thermophylae in a narrow cliff from Persians invader.  Comparing the movie with the real history, there were some interesting fact which didnt mention in the movie. That in the first day….the Spartans + 1000 Thespians (they were 1300, not only 300) killed +/- 10000 Persian light infantry. The second day (before Xerses knew that there were a back way to attack the Spartans), they killed thousands of immortals. Let say they killed 2000 immortal, So each Spartan killed +/- 7 immortals. It was really good since Immortals were persian elite unit. But the Spartans are the true warrior, they were perhaps the first nations who conduct a military service. As we know, from our world history  subject in junior high school. Sparta is well known Polis (City State)  for its military power and Athena is well known for its Philosopher,Art and Culture. Xerxes (The Persian king) appearance is not like in the movie which is more like an Egyptian, Xerxes is more arabic, since persian nowdays is Iraq and Iran teritory. He was more look like the general who asked Leonidas (The Spartans king) to threw away his spear, shield and to kneel down. And the North reinforcement under Admiral Mysticlis (Athens Navy General) finnaly manage to send back the Persians to their land. And the last fact we should know, the Persian invasion was set the city states into an allied.      

The Persian wars (492 - 449 BC) were sparked by a revolt of Greek colonies in Asia Minor and brought the Greek onto the stage of world history. Athens and Eretria sent a small fleet in support of the revolt, which the Persians emperors took as a pretext for launching two invasions of the Greek mainland. In 490 BC a Persian army under Darius I landed unopposed on the plain of Marathon; following an appeal to the Spartans, The Athenian led Greeks won a decisive victory. A larger second invasion ten year later, blunted by the valiant stand by the Spartans (300) and Thespians at Thermopylae (481 BC), ended with the crushing defeat of the Persian fleet at Salamis. Sporadic fighting between Greek alliances aand Persia continued for another 30 years, before the peace of Callas (449 BC) finally ended the hostilities. The suprising Greek triumph ensured the survival of Greek culture and political structures.

A: i did remember her beautiful eyes…. i was 13 when i felt in love. we passed
    through years together…. but i had never said that i love her until we had to go 
    to college. Our relationship was up and down….and we broke. few years after
    that, she said that she had a new boyfriend. And couple years later she sent me
    her wedding invitation. i went home to attend her wedding, i sat beside her in
    photography session. she has a baby now… and she is still my good friend. we
    greets each other every Christmas and our birthday. i guess first love never

A:well…. there are also a lot of terrorism in my country Indonesia. Anyway….
   maybe there is a kind of thought in Islam about "jihad"…but i have many muslim
   friend and they never been hostile to me. I think it depends on the person. Being
   radical and fanatic is a choice. And that is the wrong one. Even though there are
   no kind of radical thought in my religion….i think they were killing each other in
